Conference Theme

Several yesterdays ago, after working closely together for many years within the Australian astrological community, we said, after both having been convenors for other FAA Conferences, that if we were ever going to convene another FAA conference, we would want to do it together. We are now living up to the promise we gave each other as we thought it was about time.

Today, after much research, exploration of options, negotiating and planning the 25th FAA International Astrology Conference Yesterday Today Tomorrow begins another style of conference. The location, the Novotel, Surfers Paradise, was chosen to appeal to those wanting life’s comforts including a fully air-conditioned venue where all the events will be held. The Novotel has a fitness centre, spa and pool, an onsite cafe and a full buffet breakfast that is included in discounted accommodation for delegates. It is located close to a vibrant dining, shopping, and entertainment scene, and only 150m from the golden sands of Surfers Paradise beach. We hope you enjoy all the Novotel has to offer.

The theme Yesterday Today Tomorrow encapsulates traditional astrology from many yesterdays that is as relevant today as it was then together with today’s astrological practices and themes with both taking us forward into tomorrow.

The conference speakers have been chosen with thought and care to bring together an incredible depth of diverse astrological knowledge and experience. There are pre and post conference workshops, three full days of lectures and the fun social events. The social events are something to be enjoyed by all and to us they help create a feeling of fun and belonging. There is the Meet the Speakers Cocktail Party on Thursday night then on Saturday night join us for the ‘Kaleidoscope of Yesterday Today Tomorrow’ dinner. Use your imagination and creative skills to up the fun, and come dressed as a character from Yesterday, Today or Tomorrow for a chance to win one of three $100 cash prizes for best dressed in each category. Dine in the best company, mingle with the speakers and dance the night away!

There will be a Trade Show and plenty of time during breaks to catch up with friends and make new ones so the bond between the “Family of Australian Astrologers” is sustained and strengthened. This bond supports our Australian astrological community to continue to grow and thrive and bring to life FAA conferences for FAA members.
