Fractal Nature of Astrology – Connecting Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

Friday 17th January 2025 – 9:15am – 10:30pm – Currumbin Room

When we practice astrology, we use the repeating patterns and cycles of the planets and develop a sense that cycles repeat but are never quite the same. Fractals work in the same way; as endlessly repeating patterns that are never quite the same. If we consider our birth charts, or any radix chart to represent the initial conditions that set off a new astrological pattern, then we may better understand, explain and confirm why astrology works. Just like fractals, we have a birth chart that is moving and alive, like nature itself. In this session Julija will explore the nature of astrology as a fractal life pattern that can inspire us and, in our astrology practice, be more conscious of the cycles that continue to shape life.

Astro-Mapping – Geodetic, A*C*G and Local Space Maps

Saturday 18th January 2025 – 2pm – 3:15pm – Currumbin Room

Astro-Cartography Maps are astrology charts projected onto the map of the world. Geodetic Maps are a fixed zodiac system on the map of the world, into which we insert astrology charts. Local Space Maps use planetary lines cast onto the horizon from a central space, and can be used for relocation, Solar Returns, for Horary and Feng Shui.

Learn the difference between all the mapping systems and where and how to use different maps for different purposes.

Introducing the Venus Star and Cycle for Personal and Mundane Forecasting

Sunday 19th January 2025 – 1pm – 2:15pm – Currumbin Room

Venus makes 5 retrograde and 5 superior conjunctions with the Sun in one complete 8 year cycle, creating a magical pentacle through the zodiac and in all astrology charts. These Venus/Sun points occur every 9.5 months in only five signs of the zodiac: currently Gemini, Aries, Capricorn, Leo and Scorpio. Venus Star Points help us focus on themes in a particular area of the chart. In this session we become familiar with the Venus Star Points and learn to use them as part of our astrological delineations, forecast trends and better see ongoing patterns in all astrological applications.
